The excitement builds as the Trip gets closer

Color me excited. Hard to believe that we are a little ore than 4 weeks away. I am creating this blog to stay in touch with friends and family as we make this journey of a lifetime. Not sure when or how frequently I will post, but it will certainly be limited to when we have wifi in the hotels. The iPad 4 should make this easier as I won't have to lug around the laptop.

I now have a translation app on our iPhones so that we can always communicate especially when our rudimentary Italian runs out. It displays the conversion as well as has both voice recognition and voice generation. Amazing technology.

Looking to learn over the next several weeks how to upload pictures from the camera to the iPad to the blog. We should be able to do facetime as well on occasion. .
